Cooperative Pest Control
Integrated Pest Management for Home and Lawns
Trad’s Pest Control utilizes an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach, but we see it as more of a Cooperative Pest Control (CPC) approach. IPM uses multiple techniques to reduce pests and the damage they cause; because we work with our customers to best solve lawn and pest management issues, we believe in the CPC approach. Trad’s partners with every customer to achieve beautiful results.
Trad’s practice is based on the concept that pest control products are just one tool, and solving a pest problem normally requires other techniques in addition to product application. Your Trad’s professional will go over the interior and exterior of your home or business to evaluate conditions that may contribute to pest problems. Trad’s IPM and CPC approach is rooted in advising customers about installing the right plants in the right place, correct irrigation, and proper mowing and pruning for the health of the lawn and landscape. Properly maintained lawns and landscapes not only add beauty, but also help keep our river healthy by acting as a filter of pollutants. A home free of rodents, roaches, ants, and other pests is achieved with a combination of product application, sanitation, de-cluttering, sealing pest entries, wood rot repair, moisture control, and landscape clean-up.
Trad’s chooses environmentally friendly products, when the option is available and efficacious, and we apply products in a professional manner to minimize exposure.
